2006 SmartRange Ltd was founded by a Swiss couple (Serge and Dunja Balmer) who immigrated to New Zealand in 2005. After being introduced to the technology of Effective Microorganisms back in 2001 we have decided to put all our effort, time, and conviction into a project that would help to spread information about this exciting technology to New Zealand.

With www.emshop.co.nz we have launched a portal where people can buy EM-Products online and find lots of information on how to use them.

We are official distributors of authentic EM-Products, manufactured by Naturefarm Ltd and we distribute the well known Bokashi Compost Zing Systems, manufactured by Bokashi NZ Ltd.
