EM-1 adds great benefit to crops in organic and conventional systems. EM-1, as a concentration of beneficial microorganisms, will help to establish a foundation for other beneficial microorganisms to proliferate. The combination of lactic acid bacteria, yeast, and purple non-sulphur bacteria (phototrophic bacteria) become this platform that will create a healthy soil. Soil aggregate will improve quickly and watering requirements can decrease by as much as 50% in the first season of applications.
