How to use EM in horticulture

Soil enrichment:

Work into the surface (approx. 5-10 cm), dilute 30 l of EM-A with 300 l of water (1:10) and spray. These measures must take place at least 14 days before sowing or planting. The germination of weeds is also stimulated by the EM-Bokashi and EM-A solution spraying, therefore the weeds must be dealt with mechanically prior to sowing or planting.

Quantity Ingredients
Min. 10-20t EM-Bokashi (compost) depending on the organic substance content in the soil

per ha*

3-5 kg EM-X Super Cera C ceramic powder (depending on Bokashi quantity)**
100 kg Ultra fine, alkaline silicate rock/basalt meal
30-60 l EM-A
300-600 l Water

Regular spraying:

Depending on the type of vegetable, spray at least once a week onto the moist leaves. Do not spray in strong sunshine, therefore apply in the mornings or evenings.

Quantity Ingredients

3 kg Ultra fine, alkaline silicate rock/basalt meal
1 l EM-5/EM-FPE (1:1)
30 l EM-A

Watering:

1 l EM-A per 1,000 l of water (0.1%)
Water quantity dependent on the type of vegetable, moisture and soil conditions.
