How to use EM for indoor plants

Household plants can easily be maintained with Effective Microorganisms. Spraying the leaves can help deal with any problems on the leaves. A weekly spraying of EM-1/EM-A and water will help your indoor plants thrive, giving longer blooms and brighter flowers. You can also keep indoor pests like white flies at bay. It is easy.

Keep a mix of 1 teaspoon (4ml) of EM-1/EM-A in 1 litre of water (1:250) handy for your weekly spraying. You can mist the plants once or twice a week with this solution. If you are in the habit of watering on a daily basis, use a few drops of EM-1/EM-A per litre water, and water daily. Make sure to feed the plants some nutrients once a month or so to prevent nutrient loss from the EM-1/EM-A applications. (Effective Microorganisms need food too and will use some of the nutrients in the potting soil to survive.)

You can also mix in some EM-Bokashi with the potting soil when you are potting the plants. Usually a ratio of 1%-3% of EM-Bokashi is added to the potting soil.
