How to use EM for poultry

Stall fumigation:

1st month:

min. 3-4 times/week, the ideal solution consists of fix-mounted fumigation jets with a time switch.

Subsequently:

spray 1-2 times/week: 0.02 l/m2 EM-A solution 1:1 (0.01 l EM-A + 0.01 l water) in the warm months. In the cold months dilute 0.01 l/m2 EM-A with the technically required water volume.

Stall preparation:

Clean thoroughly with a high-pressure spray. Evenly spray 1 l/m2 EM-A solution 1:4 (1 l EM-A + 4 l water) throughout the stall. Do not forget the ventilation shafts, roof vents, etc.

Cleaning the drinking system:

14 days before stocking allow a 50% EM-A solution to take effect for 4-5 days. Repeat this process 2-3 times and then rinse well with water. Install a filter between the water containers and the drinking system and clean regularly.

1 day before stocking:

Spray 0.10-0.15 l/m² of 1:9 diluted EM-A (e.g. 0.01 l EM-A + 0.09 l water) on the finely chopped straw. This is ideal for humidity and the reduction of dust in the stall.

Liquid manure and dung handling:

Add a minimum of 1-2 l EM-A/m3 material.
The addition of ultra fine, alkaline silicate stone meal is recommended (dosage: 3 kg/m³).

EM-FKE in poultry feeding

Use of EM-A FKE and EM-FKE Bokashi for broilers – laying hens - turkeys

• Mealy feed:

  7 l EM-A FKE/to for min. 3 months; subsequently 5-7 l EM-A FKE/t or mix 1-3% EM-FKE Bokashi into the feed depending on environmental conditions.

In order to guarantee good distribution throughout the feed, EM-A FKE can be mixed with a little cereal bran.

• Press feed:

  Once the pellets have cooled (< 40 °C) add 1-3 %
  EM-FKE Bokashi to the feed

The following EM-A FKE dosage has proven highly effective with broilers under practical conditions:

EM-A FKE dosage in drinking water:

Use of EM-A FKE and EM-FKE Bokashi for ducks and geese

• Mealy feed:

  7 l EM-A FKE/to for min. 3 months; subsequently 5-7 l EM-A FKE/t or mix 1-3% EM-FKE Bokashi into the feed depending on environmental conditions.

In order to guarantee good distribution throughout the feed, EM-A FKE can be mixed with a little cereal bran.

• Press feed:

  Once the pellets have cooled (< 40 °C) add 1-3 % EM-FKE Bokashi to the feed.

• Cereal grains:

  Soak maize, cereals in 2% EM-A FKE solution (0.2 l EM-A FKE + 9.8 l Water) for 12-24 h and allow to swell.
