How to use EM for goats & sheep

sheepStall fumigation:

1st month:
min. 3-4 times/week, the ideal solution consists of fix-mounted fumigation jets with a time switch.

Subsequently:
spray 1-2 times/week: 0.1 l/m2 EM-A solution 1:9 (0.01 l EM-A + 0.09 l water) in the warm months.
In the cold months dilute 0.01 l/m2 EM-A with the technically required water volume.

Stall preparation:

Clean thoroughly with a high-pressure spray. Evenly spray 1 l/m2 1:4 EM-A solution (0.2 l EM-A + 0.8 l water) throughout the stall. Do not forget the ventilation shafts, roof vents, etc.

Liquid manure and dung handling:

Add a minimum of 1–2 l EM-A/m3 material (depending on the content of the ingredients) to solid manure via the liquid manure/dung duct once a week.
The addition of ultra fine, alkaline silicate stone meal is recommended (dosage: 3 kg/m3).

EM-A for pastureland:

In addition to EM-A fermented liquid manure and dung, spread 200l EM-A/ha/year (divide among the individual cuts, e.g. in the case of four growth periods, 50 l EM-A per period). Add EM-A to the commercial fertiliser spread or dilute 1:5-1:10 with water and apply with a well-cleaned sprayer. Apply in the morning or evening, but not in strong sunshine.

EM-FKE for the feeding of goats and sheep:

Use of EM-A FKE and EM-FKE for sheep and goats:

0.4-0.7 % EM-A FKE is added to the dry mass feed intake (power feed, hay, silage); approx. 11 ml/animal/day
The antioxidants in EM-A FKE increase the stability of the ground cereal.

The following has proven highly effective under practical conditions:
Allow 20% sliced beet to soak overnight in 80% EM-A FPE 1:100 diluted with water.
Then administer approx. 1.5 l per animal per day.

In stress situations:

10 dg (decigramm) EM-FKE Bokashi/animal/day is administered additionally as a top dressing
